Protecting rainforests prevents further carbon emissions from heating the planet.

Rx communities in Indonesia have driven a 70% decrease in annual deforestation since 2006.  The 11 rainforests in the Rx network currently store 328 million tonnes of aboveground carbon across Madagascar, Brazil, and Indonesia.

  • The results speak for themselves. When you invest in community-designed solutions, communities protect rainforest.

  • The rainforests grow back quickly.

  • They sequester more carbon.

  • And the $ cost to make that happen is tiny.

  • Remembering that less than 1% of all climate finance goes directly to Indigenous peoples and local communities…
